Is this course online or sent through the post on DVD's?

The course is housed inside a website and when you purchase the course you will gain exclusive access to this website.

There are no DVD's. Unfortunately, not everyone own's DVD players anymore.

There are a lot of benefits to a digital course as its much more interactive e.g. clickable lesson goals, navigating instantly to any part of a video, very clearly laid out path to follow...

But more of all the play along with me software which is essentially an app and can only be used via a computer.

I'm getting on in years. Am I still capable of learning Boogie Woogie?

Not only is it possible, (I've taught many students in the older age bracket and seen great results) it can help keep the mind sharp and the grey matter fizzing. Creativity, coordination, improvisation and play is at the heart of boogie-woogie which is well known to help cognitive function.

With the proper practice tools designed for adults and some dedication, there is no reason you can't play boogie woogie and have a lot of fun learning it.

I noticed some lessons are not complete yet. Why is this?

I have poured my heart and soul into this course. It is the most comprehensive piano course I have ever built and i take great pride in spending the necessary time to get the lessons and structure right.

I've got to a stage in the course where there is no point holding it back any longer because there is so much in here ready and waiting for you.

So I decided to release it with a few of the very later modules left in development. I will release these withing the next month or two well before you get to that stage of the course.

I've always struggled with hand coordination. How is this course going to help me?

It's like the chicken and the egg situation with hand coordination. You can't really play boogie woogie without coordination... Yet built into the fabric of boogie-woogie is THE BEST way to practice hand coordination and rhythm.

So I take great care to give you as many step-by-step resources as well as bonuses each designed to help you get over the coordination bump.Then boogie woogie will take care of the rest. By the end of this course you will be a coordination master. The journey will be nice and steady, one little piece of the coordination jigsaw at a time.

I've tried boogie in the past but always gave up because it got too hard. How is this different?

One of the things that sets me apart as a piano teacher (and what I hear all the time from my students) is how truly step by step I make my lessons.

We will progress through the course by adding one tiny ingredient at a time and using the practice sessions to truly break each exercise or riff down until we get it.

What we won't do is overwhelm you by throwing too many new techniques at you each lesson. Its a slow and steady progress and with each very small step you will climb the boogie-woogie mountain.

I'm not creative. I'd love to be able to improvise but I'm not sure how?

I completely understand. Improvisation can feel overwhelming. Why? Because there's so many things going on at once that the brain can't cope.

So throughout the course, we build up your improvisation skills extremely slowly, sensibly, and in lots of step-by-step stages through what I like to call "Controlled Improvisation".

I don't just drop you in at the deep-end. I will get you improvising one small step at a time.
